    What is a Home Inspection?
    A Home Inspection is a process of investigating the condition of a home at a current time by using a set standards of practice by following a code of ethics. A Home Inspection is a visual inspection only, for a more precise list of what an inspector is and isn’t required to do, please see the provided information titled “Standards of Practice”.

    Why do you need a Home Inspection?
    When buying a home, a Home Inspection could be your greatest investment. Home Inspectors are trained to find several defects that the average consumer would completely overlook. You’ve found a home. Great! Now its time to negotiate. And just like many things in life you should only pay for what the property is worth. This is were the Home Inspector comes in.

    The Home Inspector goes through the house and finds defects like leaky roofs, cracked foundations, bad water heaters ect. , all items that could cost you a pretty penny to fix or replace when you move in. The purpose of the Home Inspection is for us to find these defects for you , so you can present them to the seller and negotiate the price of the house, or a solution to the problem. In some situations people have not bought homes after an Inspection due to serious problems being revealed with the property.

A Home Inspection could offer other services such as mold testing, or radon testing. These items are very important and could lead to serious health issues. Many Inspectors are qualified to offer these services to help identify these health issues.

    There are many homes with problems that could lead to serious issues, there are many houses with very minimal problems, either way a Home Inspection could bring peace of mind to the buyer knowing their house is fine, or that there not being taken advantage of by the seller.
